For decades, they have been muted and silenced. Women have been treated as echoes of their families, of their husbands, and of society—almost never allowed to voice out and to rupture the peace that the patriarchal system built for itself. As the ones expected to do all the chores and nurturing, no matter how hard they try to speak up and show how capable they are, they faced great difficulty in gaining ground.
